Driving into the Horizon

This is Samson the Second.

He is the fulfillment of a goal we made early 2010. The original Sammy is only getting older and is breaking down at increasing frequency. We already paid $600 on repairs for him since the beginning of 2011. He has had two separate issues and it is time for us to decrease the amount of miles we put on him.

Samson the Second is a good addition. He is bigger than Sammy, more durable and has a warranty that will give us 84,000 miles worth of free repairs.

He has no carpet, so we don't have to worry about spills and has plenty of room for a dog and baby, other additions to the family that we hope to add in the upcoming year or two.

We opted for the no frills model that had only 8,000 miles on him. He was born in 2010.

So, that's Samson! I love driving him. He is mine. He will be safely escorting me to work. It feels good to meet one of our goals in the New Year and we look forward to meeting the other ones we have as well.

It is a lot of work. But, we are up to the challenge.

Carpe Diem!

May, "the LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace." (Numbers 6:24-26)
