It takes someone with an imagination to feel as if today was a stormy day, it is at best overcast. I feel that it is stormy though, and I love cuddling up inside, procrastinating and getting things done, feeling safe from that crazy weather outside. That brings me to my post for today.

Lately, I have been seeing a lot of Disney (with my oldest client) and there are a few videos I would like to post which are encouraging songs that I enjoy.

Grew up listening to this one. I really like Hayley Mills and when the parents laugh, it's so old fashioned and I adore it.

I was so sad, I couldn't find "I Whistle a Happy Tune" from the King and I, but this was pretty cute. Anyways, this is a song I would definitely hum when feeling afraid, at least in my head. I did this as a child and could imagine teaching it to my children as well. lyrics below

Whenever I feel afraid
I hold my head erect
And whistle a happy tune
So no one will suspect
I'm afraid.

While shivering in my shoes
I strike a careless pose
And whistle a happy tune
And no one ever knows
I'm afraid.

The result of this deception
Is very strange to tell
For when I fool the people
I fear I fool myself as well!

I whistle a happy tune
And ev'ry single time
The happiness in the tune
Convinces me that I'm not afraid.

Make believe you're brave
And the trick will take you far.
You may be as brave
As you make believe you are

You may be as brave
As you make believe you are

[LOUIS]

While shivering in my shoes
I strike a careless pose
And whistle a happy tune
And no one ever knows,
I'm afraid.

[LOUIS AND ANNA]

The result of this deception
Is very strange to tell
For when I fool the people
I fear I fool myself as well!

I whistle a happy tune
And ev'ry single time
The happiness in the tune
Convinces me that I'm not afraid.

Make believe you're brave
And the trick will take you far.
You may be as brave
As you make believe you are....

Non explanatory.

That's all for now - back to work I go. :)
