Monthly Anniversaries

This was our 18 month anniversary. I surprised Oscar with little chocolate candies that were shaped like individual cards. It said something cute, hmmm, it was a pun on cards and a great deal or aces or something like that. I was going to take a picture of them, but I think they are all gone. Either Oscar ate them or threw them away (you never know with him). He's healthy, I like it. It was the thought that counted.

Anyways, he took me to a local restaurant we had a gift card for, which I just ADORE. And it was fun and I wore a dress and got a homemade pot pie, he got chicken, creamed corn, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and, that's it. The portions were gigantic and so we had left overs the next day. It was a LOT of fun!!

Fireproof

Low Budget film which hits the nail on the head when it comes to "Fireproofing" your marriage. I loved it and adored it. I might actually buy it just to support the gallant effort put out by the church that funded it. It really strikes a cord with married individuals and ties together marriage, love and the need for God in a beautiful flowing manner. Just watching it makes me want to renew my relationship with both God and Oscar. whew. Love it. watch it!!!
